America Local Chapter Goals
A
CleanTV America local chapter is comprised of a group of no less than 10
individuals who are:
- Able to
organize and execute local projects (person-to-person meetings, boycotts,
and public demonstrations) that persuade local network affiliate television
stations to make responsible choices in their broadcast decisions and
to pressure sponsors to be responsible when choosing what kind of television
programs to sponsor
- Able to
educate communities about the CleanTV America's mission, about our tools
and resources and how to get involved and take action to clean up local
television

America Local Chapter Responsibilities
The responsibilities of a CleanTV America local chapter director are to:
- Recruit
members from in and around their community who are willing to take an
active role in chapter initiated projects.
- Network
with like-minded organizations around the community to collaborate on
local CleanTV America projects as and when appropriate
- Organize
chapter projects that target local network affiliates, demanding responsibility
in local broadcast decisions
- Raise funds
to support the local chapter efforts
